Steve Turner

Steve is a self-taught artist who specializes in impressionist and abstract styles. He is a retired educator whose artistic journey began with a passion for exploring color and form.

Central to his process is the importance of play. By allowing spontaneity to guide his work, Steve embraces unexpected outcomes and discoveries. This approach fosters a creative environment where exploration takes precedence over perfection.

Steve’s art is strongly influenced by the breathtaking landscapes of the Haliburton Highlands, where he now lives and paints full time.
